AVID Expectations

Dear Parents:
 
We are excited be implementing our new AVID program this year !  A couple of reminders about our expectations as we move forward with this new resource for students.
 
  • Students are expected to take home binders  DAILY and have them signed by a parent Monday through Thursday.  Please help our students stay on task with this daily assignment !
  • Our planners are also serving as "Reading Logs" and are a way for parents to keep informed about their child's reading materials.  Please help our students set aside time for daily reading.
  • All students are being taught useful organizational skills by keeping their planners neat, clean, and organized.
  • AVID planners are part of their grade.
  • Please work with your child to make them feel successful organizers !
